Add This Workout To Your Bridal Fitness Program

New seasons bring new inspiration, anticipation and positive vibes, which is why spring is the perfect time to overhaul your workout routine. Today’s total body workout is the perfect addition to your bridal fitness program, especially as you enter full on wedding planning mode.

My SWEAT workouts use simple and effective moves to tone muscle, boost metabolism, increase your bridal fitness and get you feeling fit and fabulous from the inside and out. The best news is that you can do them in your living room, at the gym or even in a park.

Today’s bridal workout comes from Becoming A Bombshell Bride: How To Sculpt Your Dream Bridal Body In 14 Days.

Why You Want This

Because you’ve been considering a bridal cleanse but don’t want to take the juice route (I don’t blame you, I wouldn’t either).

Why You Need This

Sweating is one of the easiest, cheapest and least-invasive ways of detoxifying the body. Not only can a good sweat session sweat unclog pores and clear up skin breakouts, a 2011 study found that perspiring also purges the body of many toxic elements. In even more good news, sweat contains antimicrobial peptides (that’s a mouthful for saying antibacterial protein) that can boost your immune system by breaking down unhealthy bacteria.

How To Get Your Fiancé On Board

You’ve got your bridal fitness program covered, but what about the Groom? This workout will kick his butt — dare him to join you!

Bridal Fitness Program: SWEAT 1.0

  • You need 1 set of medium weights (5 – 12 pounds)
  • Set One: Repeat Move A for 45 seconds, rest 15 seconds, and repeat Move B for 45 seconds. Perform three rounds. Rest 60 seconds.
  • Repeat for Set Two, Three & Four.
  • Or simply press play and let’s do it to it!

Now I’d love to hear from you!

With love,

Jennifer Dene XO

Bridal Bootcamp: The Strapless Dress Workout

Today’s wedding workout has three main benefits: to tone your arms, to improve your cardio, and to make you feel like a total badass. I’ve chosen moves that will primarily target your upper body (hello strapless dress), but there’s also a good bit of love shown to your abs and legs. When I edited this…

Why Brides Need To Rethink Weight Loss

I don’t want to be another health expert who stands here and says: “living at your ideal weight is easy”. Because for many women the ability to create a body and life that they love seems needlessly complicated, and even unattainable. I get it. For many years I struggled with low self-esteem, eating disorders, and…

Bridal Bootcamp: Full Body Bridal Workout

Tie those laces ladies; bridal bootcamp is in session! All you need for this workout is lots of energy, and maybe an exercise mat! Even if you don’t have that energy right now, I want you to do the workout anyway. Remember that exercise actually boosts your energy, improves your mood, and is just a generally…

Healthy Date Ideas On A Wedding Budget

Stuck in another date rut? Wedding planning killing your love life? I get it. While getting takeout from your local spot and watching movies on Netflix is fun, sometimes you need to bust out of that comfort zone. If saving for the wedding has your purse strings pulled tight, then hitting up expensive bars and restaurants might…

7 Day Full Body Bridal Workout Challenge

We’re kicking off the new month (and almost a new season) with a full body bridal workout that includes some of my favorite moves. But this workout is a little different most — it’s a 7 day challenge to help you feel motivated to exercise! For many women the problem with working out starts at…
